Learn and Play Children’s Centre
Learn and Play Children’s Centre is a licensed childcare and preschool facility that is firmly established in the community. By making use of the skills and abilities of our highly qualified staff members, we have been providing children with a well rounded, positive education for over twenty-five years.
Located in Central Maple Ridge, the Centre offers easy and affordable access to all young families and encourages parents to make use of the ‘open door’ policy that we maintain here. By developing a constant line of communication between parents and teachers, we believe that parents will be better able to respond to the educational and emotional needs of their children if a problem arises.
We are concerned especially with the welfare and development of children. In co-operation with parents, we believe that we can, and do, have a direct and significant effect on the children that enter our care.
Our philosophy is that children learn by playing. Guided by a supervisor, many of them qualified in “Early Childhood Education”, the program is planned with specific goals in mind, (sharing, independence, muscle co ordination, etc).
